MEDICAL DIRECTOR/PSYCHIATRIST

DR. INGRID L. MONTGOMERY, MD, MPH is a board-certified psychiatrist focused on adolescent, adult, and overall family wellness. In addition, she is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Forensic Psychiatry at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. She provides clinical supervision and educational training to Psychiatry Residents of Orange Regional Medical Center (affiliated with Touro Medical College) and Forensic Psychiatry Fellows (affiliated with Columbia University).

After obtaining her certification of completion in General Psychiatry, Dr. Montgomery completed an additional year of training, a fellowship, specializing in Forensic Psychiatry in 2015.  She received specialized forensic psychiatry training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center and Bronx Psychiatric Center. She has worked with the chronically mentally ill population for the New York State Office of Mental Health since 2015 and has been in private practice since 2016 in Rockland County, NY.

Dr. Montgomery is qualified by New York State courts as an expert witness in the field of Psychiatry. 

Dr. Montgomery centers her treatment approach around the art of medicine. She has a love for music as a common means of coping and bringing people of all spheres together. In her spare time, she is a professional musician and performer-providing music therapy to the soul and hope for the hopeless.
